Ceramosite™ TvPITv3
Ceramosite™ TvPITv3 (3mil) is a three-ply composite of 3M ThermaVolt 3mil (0,076mm) mineral insulation paper bonded to both sides of high quality electrical grade polyimide (PI) film.
Ceramosite TvPITv combines the outstanding thermal aging resistance and dielectrical strength of PI film with the excellent thermal and dielectric characteristics of 3M ThermaVolt mineral paper.
With the thermally stable outer layers of 3M ThermaVolt the composite is certified by UL as component for electrical insulation systems in CLASS 220(R). The high thermal conductivity of 3M ThermaVolt/film laminates promotes cooler running equipment, leading to longer insulation life, better reliability, and more efficient use of power. Additionally, the inorganic content in 3M ThermaVolt provides excellent corona resistance and resistance to cut-through even at highest temperatures.
